About Paul Collins Fitness

At Paul Collins Fitness, my goal is to help people of all ages and abilities move with greater ease, build strength, and support positive mental health through the power of regular exercise.

I use a wide range of approaches to create tailored programmes that meet your needs. This may include:

  • Personal Training to build strength, fitness, and confidence
  • Biomechanics to improve functional movement and mobility
  • Qi Gong and breathwork to enhance overall health, relaxation, and energy

With years of experience and specialist training, I focus on both your physical and mental wellbeing. Whether your goal is to improve mobility, increase strength, reduce pain, or develop healthier habits, I’ll work with you to find the right path forward.

Every journey begins with a thorough assessment, ensuring your programme is not only safe and effective but also aligned with your personal goals—helping you achieve lasting results.

I have recently relocated to the Wooburn Green area, from Bude in Cornwall, and now welcome clients from the Beaconsfield, High Wycombe and Maidenhead areas.

Why Paul Collins Fitness?

I’ve had a lifelong passion for exercise and fitness, and for the past thirteen years, I’ve been helping clients through one-to-one training, small-group personal training, and bootcamps.

I believe in continually developing my knowledge and skills, which is why I invest heavily in professional education. This ensures I stay up to date with the latest advances in exercise science and programming—so my clients benefit from safe, effective, and modern approaches to health and fitness.

Specialist Experience

I am qualified to support a wide range of people, including those managing more complex health needs such as:

  • Diabetes and obesity
  • Neurological and degenerative conditions
  • Lower back pain and musculoskeletal issues
  • Post-stroke rehabilitation and acquired brain injuries
  • Parkinson’s and other long-term conditions

As a Personal Trainer and Exercise Referral Specialist, I often work alongside healthcare and medical professionals to ensure your programme is safe, appropriate, and aligned with your health goals.

A Focus on 40+ Fitness

At Paul Collins Fitness, I love working with clients aged 40 and over who want to feel healthier, stronger, and more confident in their bodies. I understand the challenges that aging can bring, like stiff joints, changes in energy levels, or simply finding the time to look after yourself.

My approach is supportive and encouraging, helping you to move with ease, reduce everyday aches and pains, and enjoy exercise in a way that feels manageable and fun. Together, we’ll build long-lasting habits that fit into your lifestyle and keep you feeling good for years to come.

How I Work

Every journey begins with a thorough assessment, so I can design a personalised programme tailored to your needs. Your plan may focus on:

  • Improving mobility and functional fitness
  • Building strength and resilience
  • Supporting mental well-being through movement
  • Goal-setting, weight management, and healthy nutrition (including recipes, if required)

To keep training engaging and effective, I use a wide variety of equipment, from free weights and kettlebells to TRX, medicine balls, and resistance bands. Sessions are always tailored, challenging, and, most importantly, fun.

My Philosophy

I believe exercise should never feel like a chore. For it to become part of your lifestyle, it has to be enjoyable. That’s why I design sessions that are varied, dynamic, and interactive. Think of it as adult PE—playing hard, moving well, and getting fit at the same time!
